BOB HOPE CLASSIC

In January 2008, the Arnold Palmer Classic Course at SilverRock Resort became one of the four host courses for one of the most popular and storied PGA events, The Bob Hope Classic. Arnold Palmer himself, a part-time La Quinta resident, has won the event 5 times with DJ Trahan winning it in 2008. At 7,553 yards in length, SilverRock is one of the longest courses on the PGA Tour. But with 6 tee boxes for golfers to choose from, low- and high-handicappers alike can make the course play as long or as short as their game demands.
